Dogs
Notes from the Doghouse
by Carrie Boyko, CEB Today's weekly preview is coming from me....again. Oliver is napping so soundly he cannot be roused for his weekly job. Too much biking this morning? Maybe.
This past week's product reviews are certainly drawing a great deal of attention. Dogs Unleashed provided a beautiful array of products to make bathtime easier and what dog owner doesn't want a few packages of free organic treats from NatureNosh. And then there are the dog books for kids that are catching the eye of many a mom or grandmom. If you're interested in entering to win these great prizes, click the links above to get started.
Today's introduction of our new Ask the Vet columnist has already brought email. Dr. Mark Nunez is excited to have been a guest writer here last week, and now will be joining us to assist with your dog health questions. You can read more about Dr. Mark at the link and watch for his first Ask the Vet answer this week.
Don't miss Petfinder's great video tomorrow that will have you rolling on the floor. Can you imagine what things would be like if the tables were turned? Come see what happens when dogs do the adopting and we are the ones on leashes going home. Be sure to bring your imaginations!
Michael Baugh has a great Ask the Trainer piece coming this week to help you better understand the challenges of training a dog without creating a noisemaker. Great stuff.
Our Doggie Surprise Grab Bags have been well-received and a fun way to share my thankfulness for all your diligent reading, commenting and following. Another reader will earn a Grab Bag on Thursday, as we bring you our product review and giveaways time of the week.
This week's review of Petmate's Floatimals has Tanner wanting to swim all day long. You know how we get wrinkly skin when we stay in the pool too long? Be sure to check out this great product review and join in the fun with a giveaway of Floatimals through next week. Watch for other giveaways as well.
Of course, Fridays are big. Announcing the winners of our giveaways is my favorite part of the week. Next week's winners will include 6 lucky dogs getting 4 bags each of NatureNosh USDA Organic treats, 1 batch of kids books, and several winners will be getting some bath supplies from Dogs Unleashed.
It should prove to be a fun day, and no less because it will also be Fido's Freebie Friday. That's the day we invite other bloggers here to participate in our giveaway collection for you to check out. You'll find all sorts of prizes for pets, pet lovers and pet owners. Join in the fun and see what you'd like to enter to win.
Finally, with the Saturday Pet Blogger hop I'll be wrapping up my series on pet care while you're away. Hope to see you all soon. If you're worried about missing any of the great content mentioned here, simply click the "Subscribe" button at the top of the post. You'll be prompted to set up an email subscription and be done in a jiffy. Happy tails!
