Who remembers last year's Super Dog Sunday™? It was nothing more than a fun, football-themed photo blog hop, and we sure did have a great time. This year, I've got lots of help. Dogtipper has signed on to co-host and we will be bringing you much, much more. Today's post is simply a cameo sketch of the event. I'll add details in the coming days and weeks.

Rules: No professional photos allowed. Photos submitted must be either taken by the submitter or themed from a Petfinder adoptable pet profile picture. The judges' decisions on winners are final. All entries that are family-friendly, football-themed pet photos will be accepted for participation if submitted by residents of the U.S. or Canada, with the exception of Quebec. Please consult our Giveaway and Contest Rules for further clarification.

Super Dog Sunday™: Charity, Photos, Rescue, Prizes, & More!

Who remembers last year's Super Dog Sunday™? It was nothing more than a fun, football-themed photo blog hop, and we sure did have a great time. This year, I've got lots of help. Dogtipper has signed on to co-host and we will be bringing you much, much more. Today's post is simply a cameo sketch of the event. I'll add details in the coming days and weeks.
- Petfinder's Foundation will get a nice chunk of change from our sponsors, to be highlighted as we move along closer to the big day. All proceeds from Super Dog Sunday™ go to the Petfinder Foundation; this is a no profit event for All Things Dog Blog and our partner, Dogtipper.
- More for Bloggers this year: We know you are an integral part of this event. We want to make sure you get what you deserve from it. You'll be able to highlight Petfinder adoptable pets, submit your own pets' photos and win prizes for participation. Learn more in coming posts.
- Photo Contest: Football-themed dog pics will be the highlight of our day on February 5, 2012. Lots of help will be coming!
- Prizes for Photos--Yup! You read that right. This year our sponsors will be sharing their great products with you. There will be a multitude of ways to win, so don't miss a single post. Grab your free subscription right now at the dog house subscription box in the middle sidebar.
- Blog Hop fun: Our readers will have the opportunity to visit each of the participating blogs to check out the entries in full-size. All photos will be submitted with some sort of football theme added, whether it be a simple frame or a full costume and scene with Fido included. Pets and Petfinder adoptable pets can participate, allowing you to highlight a pet in need of a forever home, as well as your own pets.
