This is the first time I've run a giveaway completely via Twitter. I did not even announce it on the blog. I suppose I should have, but it was one of those random moments when I just decided "What the heck; why not try it?!" So, if you missed it, I'm sorry. It was listed on my giveaways page, as well as in my sidebar giveaway listing, although I'm removing it as of this winners' announcement. These are two spots you should check regularly if you're visiting to see what's new to win. The other must-see spot is Fido's Freebie Friday, which runs Thursday afternoons from 4 PM through the same day and time each week, renewing weekly for new entries.
To be honest I had no idea how much participation I would get with this giveaway, but I wanted to test the idea. Much to my surprise, given only a few days, there were more than 40 Tweets to enter this giveaway for two 20-lb. prizes of Organix pet food. Not bad without a blog post to beef up entries.
Will I do it again? Maybe. Keep your eyes on that spot in the sidebar for listings. You'll see this adorable little guy there and know you've found the right list.
