Holiday Doings at PetSmart

PetSmart is a great pet superstore, not sullied by the problems of smaller chains that sell puppies from puppy mills. That's a great business practice I can support. And speaking of support, PetSmart is supporting their charities for homeless pets with even greater vigor this holiday, and you can help. Chance and Lucky, the stuffed dog and bear in the photo above with Tanner, are part of the holiday giving program. Ten percent of purchases from the Chance and Lucky collection of stuffed animals, ornaments, slippers, and cards will go to the PetSmart Charities, helping you and the animals celebrate your holidays. You can visit their stores to select your items, or even purchase a giftcard for this program at their site online.

If you visit their site, watch for the deal of the day. Today when I checked their site I found adorable wicker pet beds for dogs and cats--oh so cute! And they are half off the regular price--WOW!

PetSmart will even help out with a sale on holiday products that you purchase online. Use the discount code "SALETEN60" to get 10% off purchases of $60 or more. But hurry; I don't know what the deadline is, so don't waste any time.

Oliver and Tanner got some samples to share and we could hardly wait to show off our pics. What do you think about Oliver's Martha Stewart sweater? I love the buttons on both sides, and these sweaters are not cut too short, leaving half of Oliver's back exposed to the chill. Pretty, huh? Ooops! I guess Oliver would prefer I called it handsome.

Did you notice the tug toy that Chance and Lucky are playing with in the photo at the top? Tanner wanted to play with it too, but I told him "Photos first". He knows the drill; pose pretty and then he gets a nice treat for being a good photo model.

We have enjoyed showing off some of PetSmart's cute Martha Stewart sweaters and toys.
